Here we are with important information on the TTA events in Rome and Milan, but it is mainly about the book TRAVEL TALES & SHOTS
As you know, this year saw the THIRD edition of the TTA – TRAVEL TALES AWARD, an extended initiative for the promotion of authorial projects and single shots related to Travel Photography.
You participated in the initiative linked to the call on Instagram for single photos, and one or more of your photos was a finalist (beetwen other 130 imagines selected from more the 4200 pictures published on IG with the hashtag #TTA2023) in the jury voting last June.
On November 25th and 26th in Rome at Otto Gallery there will be the TTA ROME WEEKEND.
There are many activities planned for those two days: there will be the inauguration of the exhibition with  ten selected stories, the screenings of all 50 finalist stories and the selected 50 single shots used in the two Travelgram eshibition, then the awards of this 2023 Edition. The first two editions ended with the event in Rome, but this year there is an important news that could concern you too!
After the event in Rome, we will organize the PHOTO TRAVELERS Convention  in Milan on the weekend of 1, 2, 3 March  2024, a great event reserved for a maximum number of 150 photographers and travelers that will close the Travel Tales Award 2023 edition and open the new 2024 edition which will have an important novelty that for now we cannot reveal to you….
It will be a great event dedicated to travel photography and to all great travelers, organized by Travel Tales Award and ViaggioFotografico.it in a brand new structure (also top secret), and there the volume TRAVEL TALES & SHOTS will be presented.
After the Convention, the book will be presented at all stages of the Travel Tales Award 2024. The book will consist of a dozen stories (chosen from the 50 finalist stories) and about twenty individual photos, and this year we give the opportunity to participate with one or more photos to the finalist authors of the Instagram call in the voting last June.
The book, edited by Simona Ottolenghi, will be structured as an ideal journey through the world, with the texts of the stories expanded and revised by Sonia Pampuri (journalist of the magazine Cities).
The initiative is self-financed and provides a participation fee for each single photo of € 60.
So, if you want to participate in the book with one or more of your individual photos of those selected for the final votes, write to us asap, before novembrer 26th, at iscrizioni@traveltalesaward.com
Keep in mind that the fees must be paid by November 30th, to confirm the authors and the contents and to have the technical times for processing and printing the book.

For the PHOTO TRAVELERS convention, the event will be behind closed doors with a maximum of 150 participants, and will include a total fee for participation in the entire convention of € 70.00 for each photographer. For the authors participating in the book, the fee for the convention will be reduced to 60.00 Euros (registrations will open in December with the complete program of the convention and details).
