TRAVEL DIARIES COLLECTION PRESENTATION
The series will collect personal Zines, focused on a single story. The book size 16.9 x 24 cm, paperback, foliation till 60 pages maximum, well printed. The graphic design and layout will be by our graphic designer, Giuliano (who works with us on CITIES magazine). Simona Ottolenghi and Sonia Pampuri will write the texts of the zine introductions.
HOW TO PROPOSE ONE OR MORE PERSONAL STORIES
- We will choose authorial projects, not a simple series of travel photos, but the type of stories that we award at the TTA.
- We will therefore directly invite the authors who have had finalist stories to the 3 TTA editions.
- For each title printed 15 copies will go to the author (who can ask for more copies).
- Anyone can submit one or more of his stories that can be edited on a foliation of 60 pages by sending us the stories with .jpg images and basic synopsis of the text to info@traveltalesaward.com
AUTHOR’S MANAGEMENT
Each confirmed zine will be made entirely by our Starring Team. Angelo Cucchetto with Simona Ottolenghi and Sonia Pampuri will carry out the final editing of the selections sent by the author. Simona or Sonia will write the introductory text. Angelo, along with the graphic designer Giuliano will finalize the zine and send it to the printer.
Each zine will be added to the collection with a dedicated personal card on the TTA website and the author’s data. 15 copies will go to the author and (at least) and the rest will be added to the series, to be used in physical presentations.
The author who has submitted an accepted story will simply have to send us the materials. At the end they will receive in exchange the inclusion of their title in the series and 15 physical copies of the zine. Each author can anyway choose an extra print run by paying the additional printing cost directly, bearing in mind that this cost can go down even to 7 euros per copy depending on the print run.
HOW MUCH DOES EACH ZINE PRODUCED COSTS TO THE AUTHOR?
The basic package costs € 600 including VAT for each zine title.
